In October 2021, I participated in the Sunshine Model United Nations Colloquium in Chennai. I represented Belgium and spoke around the issue of global climate change.

I also had the opportunity to felicitate Erik Solheim, former Executive Director of UNEP and former UN Under-Secretary-General. The event also featured Hans Jacob Frydenlund, then Norwegian Ambassador to India, and K. Abdul Ghani, founder of Tree Ambulance Foundation and Youthink International.

It was one of my first experiences outside a purely technical setting.
